Keto means eating differently

Eating a ketogenic diet doesn’t have to be restrictive. It means eating in a different way which can take some getting used to.

If you enjoy seafood, meat, animal products, a wide variety of salads and vegetables, dairy, healthy fats, nuts and seeds, then you won’t feel restricted at all when starting to eat keto / low carb.

Plan three meals a day that focus on eating protein and healthy fats with fresh salads and veggies. When you go to the grocery store, stick to the outside aisles as much as possible as this is where you will find the fresh produce, deli, meats and dairy items.

The healthy approach to the keto diet means eating free range and organic produce and grass-fed meat where you can, because not only is it great for your health and wellness, it eliminates the majority of chemicals and processed foods. Keeping it fresh and simple with good quality ingredients is the key.

Healthy eating doesn't have to be restrictive or boring when you have so many options available to you. That’s why keto / low-carb eating is more about a lifestyle than a once-off diet.
